The second bedroom welcomes you with a touch of cozy sophistication, featuring the versatile Karup design Small sofa lounge bed. Bathed in velvety soft purple tones, this room exudes a sense of depth and spaciousness, creating a delightful retreat for guests. Moving on to the master bedroom, we've handpicked a rich and soothing Dark Teal green color scheme. A haven of tranquility awaits with the cloud-like Haven Bed from "Bedre neatter" adorned with a luxurious, thick fabric Bedspread from HM - home.
Our love for IKEA's "Sinnarp" series shines bright in the kitchen, where functional beauty meets practicality. A carefully selected lamp from the same brand illuminates this culinary sanctuary, while the kitchen island boasts the allure of marble without compromise – marble laminate.
To infuse exclusivity and character into the dining area, we've sourced Acapulco barstools from a prestigious restaurant in Oslo that closed its doors, allowing us to provide affordable luxury to our valued patrons. The Ellos Home dining table, crafted from a waxed mango tree, stands resplendent with a majestic marble plate, exuding opulence and sophistication. Surrounding the table, Ellos/Homeroom chairs strike the perfect balance between style and comfort, creating an inviting space for cherished gatherings.
Stepping into the living room, you'll be captivated by the Jotex "terasso" terrazzo table, an actual work of art formed from an exquisite mix of stones. Embrace relaxation with the "Cosima" Couch in sira, dark beige color, and indulge in the plush comfort of the Bucle Fabric Armchair. Underfoot, the Jotex viscose carpet pampers your senses, inviting you to unwind and revel in the serene atmosphere.
Beyond the living space awaits the jewel of this project – the stunning outdoor terrace. Here, a circular Sunbed for two from the Florens series by Comfort Garden beckons you to immerse yourself in the tranquility of nature, providing a perfect spot to bask in the sunlight or savor a delightful meal al fresco.
Our Oslo masterpiece embodies the true spirit of Scandinavian design, where beauty, sustainability, and thoughtful curation converge to create a symphony of living. We invite you to experience the magic of Stockhomed's exceptional interior design expertise and embrace the art of modern living in its finest form. Scandinavian interior design style
This couple has added a Scandinavian Interior design style to their airy Boston flat
When the couple moved into their airy Boston flat they were the first to have lived there, a new fresh building and the apartment, with gorgeous views over Boston's downtown. The daily sunshine streaming from the windows, combined with the couple's interior design style, with both Scandinavian and Ethiopian influences, made this apartment get into a dark Scandinavian interior design mode.
Unlike modern interior design, Scandinavian interior design has its roots in its northern heritage, airy and natural light are the key - combined as minimal, clutter-free with clean lines. The northern heritage emphasized in Scandinavian interior design references nordic history, a cultivating life focusing on clutter-free and highly functional use of space. Organic shapes and natural materials are hallmarks of Scandinavian interior design. The Scandinavian design style we know today stems from a culture of living in small rural communities, requiring reliance on natural materials that were functional and reliable.
Upon entering the apartment, the long, sleek hallway invites you to sit down on a sheepskin stool, while enjoying pictures of red-coated Swedish villas and lush greenery throughout.
Unlike other interior design trends in 2022, this couple has relied on dark Scandinavian interior design, to match the extraordinary natural light drenching the apartment from sunset to sunrise.
The natural light in the apartment is the actual centerpiece, Simone Elderot, interior designer of Stockhomed studied the home’s exposure to natural light: strong and direct in the living and dining room, and dimmer and more diffuse in the primary bedroom.
Stockhomed came up with a series of carefully balanced Scandinavian interior decorations by mixing eclectic antiques with contemporary pieces. Home interior design is meant to feel like home, made by the owners of the space, even though they have been working with an interior designer In the kitchen, for instance, Simone chose a collection of soft and round midcentury Scandinavian barstools, which she joined with a sharp-edged contemporary travertine coffee table, matched with a boucle armchair.
Simone dwells on the idea of design as wellnes and contentment, and as a swede, “Hemma” in Swedish, or “Homed” in English is what Stockhomed leaves with all their clients. Simone A self-taught designer and co-founder of Stockhomed got her start in Real Estate before embarking on a career in design, Simone is known for interiors that are drenched with functionality and sustainability, and rich in texture, always with a distinct selection of indoor plants. In fact, she lived in Stockholm, Sweden where she found an arsenal of inspiration for various design projects. She describes the neutral-toned apartment as an exercise in precision and restraint. “For me, this is minimal,” she quips. Simone grew up in the countryside on the summers and holidays, and in the big city on weekdays where she developed Scandinavian country traditional Scandinavian interior design

Eclectic Scandinavian interior design
This house, a masterpiece of Scandinavian interior design, was mentioned in the interior design magazine Dwell and is owned by a New York City-based couple, fittingly requested Stockhomed as their interior designer in Miami, and the lavish use of white tones—particularly in natural materials. The client was especially familiar with designs, interior designs in particular, but always remained open-minded, and the designer set about acquiring pieces from local and online stores. Eclectic Scandinavian design pieces were on the menu and Stockhomed managed to answer what is Scandinavian interior design.
The two-story living room is the house’s centerpiece for this minimalist Scandinavian interior design project, extending from the main floor to the second floor, the matching furniture makes it look like a one or two-story room, yet, it can be experienced from both floors of the house. Standing in the mezzanine that overlooks the kitchen-dining and living area. The house can be exited from the front and the back, the front door takes you right outside to the front yard, surrounded by feet-high banana plants, the back has a gorgeous area, with growing passion fruit vines that soon will cover the walls of the rear garden.
Contrary to the atmosphere of many Miami homes, this one manages to be relaxed and welcoming, with a Scandinavian interior design style, at the same time giving a vibe that makes you long for the beach. Bringing a sense of grandeur to an otherwise minimalist shell that presented an incredibly clean slate, the sprawling space started off with brown notes throughout.
The heartbeat of the home is the dining room extending down a few stairs into a seating room, with its elegant sense of order and coziness, often found in Scandinavian country traditional Scandinavian interior design homes, has been decorated with shades of white to match the newly eco-friendly oak floor.
In modern Scandinavian interior design, Stockhomed too choose a full white color scheme, with the Stature Ivory Dining Armchair from CB2 along with the bench from the same brand, all with rounded corners, throughout the living area. A white table, with natural tones, is placed under a contemporary pendant light to extend the feeling of Scandinavian interior design. A surfboard is another foundational element to the scene as one of the clients, is an Australian surf enthusiast.
The Scandinavian interior design theme continues to the top floor, with a pumpkin chair from Ligne Roset, the effect is mesmerizing and suitably sultry at once. The end result strongly relays the love of art and the color white—for the owners and for Simone. The Piumotto bed, from Pianca design, looks like a massive pillow and fills out the rest of the bedroom and matches well with the linen bedding from Matteo Los Angeles. The floors are covered with Cozy Plush Low-Shed Shag Rug from Westelm.

Modern Scandinavian interior design
Having an extra room in the house meant for work and play may seem like a luxury for some, but this couple decided they also needed some professional help and contacted Stockhomed as their interior designer in Miami, to add Scandinavian interior design ideas with style and purpose to this multi-use room. The room has been acting as a guest room and was equipped with a desk and a queen size bed, however, the room was supposed to be meant for all kinds of Social Media content creation and needed a spruce up by Stockhomed to fit its needs.
We had to think about what is a Scandinavian room in interior design, so after clearing the whole room, decorative walls were built to give the room texture and shape, the walls were measured to give the room a spacier feeling, as well as have something to lay the eyes on, both when entering the room also for pictures and recordings for the social media content. Because of the edgy shapes of the walls, and to give the room that Scandinavian interior design feeling, both the couch and mirror got rounded corners to give the illusion of a soft feel to the room. The rounded mirror is movable to easily be used to get the reflection of the wonderful Miami view as well as a good selfie mirror.
A plushy carpet covering the whole room work both as a noise reduction as well as perfect to sit and lay on, unlike traditional Scandinavian interior design, the carpet edges cover the corner of the room.
The two pieces of wall art covering the space between the texture walls are designed by Stockhomed and inspired by a texture that can trigger more than one human sense. It is a Scandinavian Interior design style that is a paint mixed with a thick powder, such as baking soda. When walking into a room, one wants to feel connected and drawn to take a step further - hence the wall art has a grainy and thick texture, presenting modern Scandinavian interior design.

Colorful Scandinavian interior design
Many of the best interior designers in Miami have done lavishly and high-end interior design projects in this luxury Edgewater building. A private entrance, with an elevator going straight into a wonderful open hallway, covered in marble floors, was in need of a big piece of art to lay your eyes on once you hear the "ding" from the elevator doors.
Considering this, the hallway just had to be bold and in color, to really want the viewer to take a step closer to the inside of the apartment. The color red was decided early to be the accent color for this project, hence the bold start with a red art piece as interior decoration. The guest room is meant for guests, hence I left the walk-in closet empty as well as incorporated a fireplace to warm up the guests during hurricane season, as well as match the flaming colors to match the Scandinavian interior decoration and design.
Not only does this two-bedroom and 3 baths (!) of 1500 sq ft, including a terrace, have beautiful finishes that go throughout the apartment, the terrace itself feels like an extra room, and at my client's request, it will be decorated into a playroom, let's rephrase, outdoor playroom with a mid-century modern interior design feeling to it. The balcony which is almost 400 sq ft is decorated as an extra room, it's the playroom of the apartment where the 3-way gambling table works as a pool table, air hockey, and ping pong table, at once with one simple turn.
The balcony can also access the master bedroom, where glass walls cover the space between the master suite and the bathroom. The bathroom has both a bathtub and shower, two faucets, and a big walk-in closet which makes the bedroom perfectly suitable for a couple, however, a single vibrant young person like my client will have no issue filling the space with night guests, both invited and spontaneous.
The kitchen could have been left untouched but we changed the lightbulbs from yellow to white to match the chandeliers that hang on the opposite side of the kitchen. The kitchen is also got equipped with Smeg, toasters, a coffee maker, and a knife set, all with the same branding, colors, and finishes to make sure the kitchen looked neat and organized with sleek lines, as Scandinavian interior decoration offers. The living room is a mid-century modern interior design and is equipped with a high-end B & O tv and sound system
The art for this space needed an extra section for itself since it was handpicked by Stockhomeds client, we visited galleries and studios all around southern Florida together to be able to find something suitable for all corners in the apartment to lay eyes on, especially for the living room interior design.

Rustic Scandinavian interior design
It almost feels ridiculously easy to decorate a space where the lightning and views are spectacular, and Stockhomed needed to think of how to create a Scandinavian interior design with this one-bedroom overlooking Manhattan's west side. Like many other interior design jobs with spectacular views, and what any interior designer in New York City would do, with the sun hitting the living room in the afternoon, a mirror eye length was placed to give a better view.
The interior design feeling Stockhomed wanted to create was a feeling of ease, to be able to ease down in a chair with an expensive whiskey after a long day at work. A place for ease is a quiet, comfortable place, accompanied by a home interior decoration with a sexy mystique for the nightly hours, for some unexpected nightly company.

Traditional Scandinavian interior design
To live on the 25th floor with spectacular views overlooking Manhattan require a lot of thinking and planning to get the right lighting for the plants, as well as get those Scandinavian interior design characteristics from an Interior designer in New York City, which has been the main focus of this project.
This place was developed from the plant's placements and where they could thrive the most. The furniture pieces, which are classic minimalist Scandinavian interior design furniture, are movable and the space is perfect for serene meditation and recreational sunset hangouts.

Living in a vibrant city like New York while finishing up studies can both be exhausting and overwhelming, a Scandinavian interior design style offers a place to relax (such as a comfortable and fluffy bed) as well as a place to study during cramping nights (like a sleek desk with a chair that can be combined as an extra kitchen chair).
As a student, there is an urge to come home to clean lines and comfortable furniture, hence the Scandinavian interior design fits perfectly for the compromised living spaces obtained as a student, the importance of finding the top interior designer and having an experienced interior designer in New York made the process easy.
